On 30 July 2010, Tanjong Capital Sdn Bhd (TCSB) announced its intention to privatize Tanjong plc via a conditional take-over offer to acquire all the voting shares in Tanjong at a cash offer price of RM21.80/share.
The offer became unconditional on 13 September 2010 following the fulfillment of the 90% acceptance condition by TCSB.
Tanjong plc became a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCSB on 25 November 2010 following the completion of the compulsory acquisition of the remaining shares not received under the offer. |
